Working Inside Educational Environments

Working in a studio is a type of production most people are familiar with, but it is an entirely different situation to go on location to an educational institution, college, or classroom filled with real students and faculty (have you been around a classroom of teenagers lately?). Most of the time, we are hoping into a classroom or lecture hall right before, during or right after a lesson. Our time is sometimes limited because the learning must go on and things don’t always stop for a photoshoot on a busy campus. To overcome this, we take the years of experience as a photojournalist for top publications and apply speediness, politeness, and a great sense of humor to every situation all while making sure to look after every detail. Traveling light and staying nimble, our crews know how to work with real students and faculty, as well as hired talent to ensure a successful shoot every time.
